⋯ Exploration, Reconnection, Liberation, Transformation, Rebirth ⋯

First, a common point: both aim for well-being , the development of the person and the improvement of one or more spheres of their life.
In terms of differences, coaching is mainly interested in the present and the "how" (to do), the solutions, means and resources to achieve a goal.
Therapy is more focused on the past, the "why" , the origins of a problem, the person's history, their deep self.
In both cases, the desire for change is at the heart of the request , only the approaches differ.
Coaching and therapy are perfectly complementary : it is entirely possible to combine the two, and even strongly recommended in certain cases. Finally, it is not necessary to have "large-scale" projects or to be at your worst to ask for support . Wanting to know yourself better, to see things more clearly, to no longer have the feeling of being subjected to your life are reasons for consultation.
Whatever the type of support, it is teamwork , collaboration, a space for co-creation and dialogue which is based on the principle that YOU have all the resources and solutions within you to move forward and feel better.
The companion then intervenes to help you bring them to light .
Holistic comes from the Greek word “holos,” which means “ whole, (the) whole, the whole .”
Having a holistic approach means taking into account the human being in his or her entirety, as a whole being , a whole: physical, psychological, emotional, mental, energetic, socio-cultural, spiritual, etc.
During support, it is therefore necessary to take into account the different aspects of the person (and their life), not just their symptoms or their "problems".
The advantage of having a global approach is therefore to be able to tackle the "problem" at several levels .
Already, that of having the choice , each individual being more receptive to certain practices than to others.
When it is appropriate for the person's situation, having the possibility of using several during the same session also allows for greater efficiency and durability .
Often, the tools are complementary because they allow action at several levels, thus accelerating the movement and the transformation process .
For example, when it comes to relieving emotional discomfort, the action of EFT can be enhanced by Bach Flower Remedies. Their synergy supports change on several levels, both gently and deeply.
For my part, I am keen to share with you as many keys as possible during the sessions so that you can use them between sessions, and then once the follow-up is finished. My intention is to help you gain autonomy in the long term .
Sessions take place via video call via Google Meet or WhatsApp or in person in Castelldefels (Barcelona). During the session, I ask you targeted questions and adapt the process based on the results , while remaining connected to my feelings and intuitions. Each session is unique and depending on your situation, one or more support tools may be used, if appropriate .
More and more coaches are choosing to be both coaches and therapists. Generally speaking, it's perfectly possible to start with coaching sessions and do one or two therapeutic sessions along the way .
This is particularly recommended when disturbances (fears, blockages, unpleasant emotions) arise during the process.
Conversely, it is sometimes recommended to first calm certain fears or other "limiting" factors using therapeutic tools such as EFT before starting a coaching process , in order to maximize its effectiveness and sustainability.
It varies greatly and depends on the person, their history, their needs, their theme, the age and depth of their reason for consultation, their frequency, etc.
Although I can sometimes estimate an approximate duration of support, I do not impose a predetermined number of individual sessions .
➳ Several reasons for this :
- It often happens that the support lasts less time than initially estimated.
- Conversely, when the reason for consultation is complex, multiple or affects several spheres, it is preferable to take the time to look at each layer of the onion gently, without pressure.
Sometimes, a one-off session is enough to get things off your chest, regain clarity, feel lighter and re-energized.
However, I recommend a minimum of 3-4 sessions in order to trigger the process of change and transformation.
For information, the average duration of coaching support is between 6 and 10 sessions of one to two hours.
The frequency can be adjusted depending on the integration time between sessions and the person's feelings.
In general, one session per week to every two weeks is recommended.
I no longer offer programs with a pre-determined number of sessions.
Indeed, I find that the pressure/expectation of results that they can generate can sometimes be counterproductive. However, upon request and depending on the person's intention, I can create tailor-made programs (individual or group) with a more playful aim, such as "a journey where you are the hero", with self-knowledge tests, guided meditations, IKIGAI sessions, creative workshops, etc.
➳ It is the ability to (re)build oneself and bounce back after trials , to know how to make a new start despite difficult circumstances, or even to be reborn from one's suffering. Of course, there are different levels/types of suffering and resilience does not only concern situations experienced or considered traumatic.
➳ Among the definitions that can be found :
“Resilience is the ability of a person or group to develop well, to continue to project themselves into the future, in the presence of destabilizing events, difficult living conditions, and sometimes severe trauma. ” (Professor Michel Manciaux, Director General of the International Children's Center from 1974 to 1983)
“It is the ability to succeed, to live, to develop despite adversity.” (Boris Cyrulnik, French neurologist, psychiatrist, ethologist and psychoanalyst)
The coach/therapist has an obligation of means and not of results : he undertakes to put his skills at the service of the person being supported, takes all appropriate means to enable, within the framework of the request, his personal and professional development/well-being, but cannot guarantee results.
All interventions are carried out in a responsible and ethical manner , within the framework of the request of the person being supported and with respect for their ecology and the structures in which they evolve. Finally, the person being supported remains autonomous and responsible for their decisions and life choices during the follow-up and subsequently.
